High Desert Quail Unlimited "Tune Up" day

Sunday, October 11, 2009 one week before the quail season opener High Desert Quail Unlimited sponsored a free "Tune Up" day for any members and guests at our place here in Lucerne Valley. Each member was allowed two Bobwhite Quail to shoot or 2 Pigeons to just get their dog in tune. All the dogs we saw today did a really nice job, along with the handlers tuning up their skills too. The day went smoothly getting done before the fall heat set in and it was a good chance to renew old acquaintances and to take out our dogs and have some fun.
