"Buddy" takes 3rd in AGD

Matt Smith handles his own dog for the first time this year as a broke dog and takes a third at a big Amateur Gun Dog stake for the Northern California Vizsla club in Jamestown, CA at the Kistler Ranch. This trial attracts many of the pro's and amateurs being the last trial for many of the Pro trainers. The weather was perfect, the grounds fantastic, the judges were the finest and all things being as they were, "Buddy" had a great day. Matt handling and his dad Chris scouting, got Buddy around with a shot killed bird, and two more finds. His race was big, his handle was kindly, and his style beautiful as usual. This young dog at 2 1/2 is really starting to come on. His desire to please is a pleasure to have, his confidence growing, and now starting to act a little more mature, we expect to see more of him in the money next year. Nice job Matt and Chris Smith.
