Bob and Sandy Deiterings "Casey places third in a 22 dog Open Gun Dog stake at the German Wirehaired Pointer Club of Southern California trial on the weekend of November 15-16 2008. Casey broke away very nice heading straight for a ridge line and followed it on course only to stretch out to the next hill and ridge line disappearing over the hill. Scout Mike Vaz found Casey standing with perfect style and manners on the far side of the hill. Gunners shot and killed the bird and he retrieved the bird directly to hand. Sent off he passed the bottom land and stretched out to the far side of the course in the rolling hills and rocks disappearing again he was found over the top of the hill on point by great scouting again. All manners intact, heading back into a stong wind he had 2 more finds. Nice work, very clean.
